This wheel-thrown vessel is made from reclaimed stoneware clay.
Glazed inside and out with a rich glossy black Tenmoku featuring subtle tea-dust micro-crystallization. A Shino glaze is layered over the interior flowing across part of the outside of the cup. The inside has an attractive mottled pattern from the glaze combination and firing with carbon trapping highlights.
Gas-fired to 1260-1300°C in a reduction atmosphere for 12 hours.
