This bowl was made from reclaimed stoneware clay. Wheel-thrown off the hump with a deep turned foot.
Finished in a salmon-pink Shino glaze, with some pinholes and iron flecking. This is a characteristic of the glaze combined with the clay body. A small superficial glaze crack is visible within the foot ring, which shouldn't affect its use.
Gas-fired to 1260–1300°C for 12 hours in a reduction atmosphere.
